Teen Initiative

Adolescence is a critical period of emotional, social, and cognitive development. Many teenagers face increasing academic pressure, social expectations, digital influence, and uncertainty about their future. While some teens show visible signs of distress, many—especially those seen as capable or high-achieving—struggle quietly without early support.

HaraSemay Global Foundation’s Teen Initiative addresses adolescent mental health through a preventive and systems-based approach. Guided by the Solomonic Paradox framework, we focus on the hidden gaps that prevent teens from recognizing or expressing emotional challenges, particularly when they feel pressure to appear strong or successful.
We work with schools, educators, parents, and community partners to integrate mental health education, early awareness, and supportive environments into everyday settings. Our programs promote emotional literacy, reduce stigma, and encourage safe help-seeking using ethical, culturally sensitive communication.
